La Vallée du Coran

The small valley of the Koran (11 km) is dug in a limestone plateau. It is populated with moist woods of alders, ash trees, marshy meadows. On the rocky escarpments, oak forests and plants with mountain affinities (veronique mountains, four-leafed bets ...) are developing. The European mink, a rare species, makes its life and its habitat there. The fountains Many fountains flourish the valley of the Koran and the Bourrut. They once supplied the inhabitants with drinking water. Today only a few are maintained and have an original cachet: the fountain of Koran, the fountain of Varaizerie and Font-Ronde fountain.
