Located 22 km from Saintes, 17 km from Rochefort, 27 km from the Île d’Oléron and 35 km from Royan, this is the ideal base for exploring our region: the heart of the Saintonge and the Romanesque Saintonge, the coastline and the islands.
All the rooms overlook the garden and the old moat. You’ll enjoy a peaceful stay here.
On the first floor, on the same landing, there are two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room and private toilet:
- The first bedroom, ‘Hermione’, for 2 people (one 140 cm bed)
- The “Bord de mer” room, inspired by the coast, for 2 people (two 90 cm beds),
These two rooms can be combined to form a family suite: 2 adults and 2 young children aged 4 to 12 inclusive.
On the ground floor:
- The “Les Douves” room, with direct access to the garden, for two people (160 cm bed) with an en-suite shower room and separate toilet.
Generous breakfasts featuring homemade jams are served on the veranda, which opens onto a landscaped garden full of flowers.
Cyclists and motorcyclists: the garage provides secure storage for your two-wheelers.
La Roue Blanche, a local cycle route, is connected to the Flow Vélo, which links Thiviers (Dordogne) to the Île d’Aix, and the Vélodyssée, a cycle route between Roscoff (Brittany) and Hendaye (Basque Country).
The Terra Aventura trail, ‘Qui sème le vent récolte la mojhette’, will allow you to explore our Pont-l’Abbé region.
