On the odl railway called « Train des Huitre » (oyster train), between Saujon and la Tremblade, Les Mouettes train is towed on for 21km, by one of the two steam engine, dated from 1912 and 1891, the oldest still working in France. In old times they were used to transport salt, resin, vinegar and oysters., today the Train des Mouettes is used by the association Trains & traction, with the help of the Charente Maritime departments. On board of the wagon from the 20th centuary, discover a train full of history.
