Jane Sullivan, calligrapher and fairy artist, author of several books on calligraphy and illumination, is offering two workshops on meditative and medieval themes. Calligraphy workshop / 2pm to 4pm: the calligraphy workshop is devoted to practising the "bâtarde française". This script is used in an Illuminated Psalter from Ligugé (on sale in the shop). Illumination workshop / 4pm to 6pm: in this workshop dedicated to illumination, Jane will guide you in the creation of your own enchanting illuminated letters. full of stylised motifs and fantastic creatures! For those attending both workshops, a bookmark combining these two arts will be on offer. The workshops are open to beginners and the more experienced (children aged 10 and over).
