At the gîte du Presbytère you will appreciate the incomparable charm of a house entirely renovated in 2020. We wanted to make it a place of wellbeing that is both cosy and upmarket. We have imagined and decorated it as we would like to live in it. The gîte is very comfortable and the equipment is of high quality. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, traditional oven and microwave, fridge, ceramic hob and all the crockery needed to entertain guests inside and out (including barbecue). The gîte has a private entrance, a terrace, a living room with fireplace, a large bedroom and a very nice bathroom. It is a village house, situated opposite the presbytery garden, with an incomparable charm. Particularly quiet, you are only 5 minutes from the town centre, a stone's throw from the village restaurants, the town hall, the post office and above all a stone's throw from the nautical base on the Charente and its delightfully bucolic little beach. A swim in the Charente is a must (depending on the season and your courage!) A five minute drive will take you to the village of Taillebourg, Saint Savinien, with its supermarket, tobacconist, chemist and other shops. Port d'Envaux is surrounded by remarkable sites, castles, Lapidiales (a must-see) and has many walking and cycling paths. A former interior decorator, Anne is a ceramist and has given the place its elegant and aesthetic character. You can appreciate the works of art that decorate the gîte. Stéph, a former advertising executive, is an international gallery owner and is also committed to the quality of the decoration.
