At the gîte du Presbytère you'll appreciate the incomparable charm of a house that was completely renovated in 2020. We wanted to make it a place of well-being that was both cosy and upmarket. We imagined and decorated it as we would like to live in it. The gîte is comfortable and well-equipped.
The fully-equipped kitchen includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, conventional and microwave ovens, fridge, ceramic hob and all the crockery and cutlery you need to entertain guests both indoors and out (including barbecue). The gîte has a private entrance, terrace, living room with fireplace, large bedroom and beautiful bathroom.
This charming village house is situated opposite the presbytery garden. Particularly quiet, yet only 5 minutes from the town centre, a stone's throw from the village restaurants, the town hall, the post office and, above all, a stone's throw from the nautical base on the Charente and its delightfully bucolic little beach. A dip in the Charente is a must (depending on the season and your courage!).
A five-minute drive will take you to the villages of Taillebourg and Saint Savinien, where you'll find a supermarket, bakery, tobacconist, chemist and other shops.
Port d'Envaux is surrounded by remarkable sites, including the châteaux of Mouillepied, Panloy and Crazannes, and the Lapidiales (a must-see), as well as a number of well-developed walking and cycling paths.
A former interior designer, Anne is a ceramics artist who has given the place its elegant, aesthetic character. You can admire the works of art that decorate the gîte. Stéph, a former advertising executive, is an international gallery owner and is also committed to the quality of the decor.
