Cognac, pineau, red, rosé and white Charentais wines, liqueurs, grape juice - Chaniers Caroline and Matthieu who share their passion for their profession Tradition... is it important? What is important is to continue to cultivate family land. I took over the family business with my husband in 1997 with the idea of producing Charentais wines on 1/3 of the surface area in addition to cognac, pineau, etc. and to offer our products for sale. This was unheard of on the estate at the time? Totally, we have planted different grape varieties over the years to make different wines, with about 25 references today. We are part of this generation that has really made Charentais wines evolve. What drives you? The potential we have in front of us. We were lucky enough to acquire a very nice "tool" that we shaped in our own way, it's important to have your own project when taking over a business, even a family one! And I like to explain what we do during tasting visits, in the shop or in the producers' shops. I sell more than just my wine, I sell a story! The Charente-Maritime is a department of great diversity, both culturally and in terms of food. We are only too happy to help you discover them, this is also part of our "mission"!
