Sainte-Madeleine's church - La Clisse

It is always fun to find the carved characters in a church. You can try it on this one. Can you recognize the lion on the headless sculptures on the facade ? The lion pattern is similar to those in Nieul-les-Saintes and Saint-Sulpice d'Arnoult. The decoration of the portal with foliage is also similar to the radiating chapel of Saint Eutrope in Saintes as well as the capitals (man with snakes, large leaves) If the church is closed, ask the key at the town hall
