La Pierre de Crazannes

Located on a 13-hectare site, the former quarries of Crazannes offer a surprising landscape made up of steep stone cliffs and narrow gorges invaded by luxuriant vegetation where ivy, ferns and wild clematis mingle. Unused for several decades, the Crazannes quarries now offer an unusual landscape of lost arches. A legacy of a rich past and endowed with exceptional vegetation in our region, the quarries are a fabulous place to walk. We invite you to come and discover the history of this surprising site, from the extraction of the stone to its use, as well as its fauna and flora. We offer you : - a free tour of the museum area - a guided tour of the Quarrymen's Trail (with a charge) - a non-guided tour of the Genny Trail (fee payable) - initiation workshops for bas-relief sculpture - monthly events from April to November (Meeting of the stoners, orchid outing, mushroom outing, etc.)
