    Discover the Valley of the Coran in all it's beauty for 2 hours or 1/2 a day, or even a whole day. A variety of circuits over several days can also be proposed. Themed walks following the seasons, childrens birthday treats, outings for groups and for people with disabilities.
    Advance reservation is strongly recommended. Situated a stone's throw from the Paleosite and Fontdouce Abbey.

    Follow the "Ânes" signs from the Paléosite in Saint Césaire 17770. Do not follow your GPS when coming from Cognac or Matha/St Jean d'Angely - at the very end the access is not drivable... check our website for directions.

    Prices & payment methods

    This is not a price per person, but a fixed price according to the number of donkeys rented and the duration of the rental for a family. For 2 or more donkeys, please consult the rates on our website. - 35 € for a 2-hour walk with a donkey. - 45 € for a half-day hike/ride with a donkey. - 60 € for a full-day hike with a donkey, bringing your own picnic. - 62 € per donkey per day for an itinerant tour over several days + accommodation and meal rates + pre-departure preparation/briefing fees (20 €). - For 2 or more rented donkeys, please consult the rates on our website. NB : the activity we propose is not horse riding with donkeys but donkey trekking. Moreover, the donkeys are not equipped with a saddle but with a pack-saddle to hang saddlebags and carry water, snacks or picnics... For day trips, only young children (3 to 8 years old - depending on their weight/corpulence) can ride on the donkey's back (the donkey already carries the picnic or snack and your belongings). On itinerant tours, only children up to 6 years of age (depending on their weight/corpulence) can ride the donkey a little if they get tired, as the donkey is already carrying the whole family's luggage for several days. Donkey-drawn sleigh ride: €75 for 2 hours for a family, €85 for 2 hours for a small group from a medical-social establishment.
