Gallo-Roman rempart

In the 3rd century, with the end of Pax Romana, Mediolanum felt the need to protect themselves behind a rampart. This considerably reduces the size of the city, some neighborhoods are abandoned. The stones of disassembled monuments are used to build the enclosure. Free access.
